Restoration of Yangtze and Yellow Rivers Featured at 10th World Water Forum's Fair and Expo
The 10th World Water Forum in Bali, which took place on 18--25 May 2024, was not only a meeting place to discuss world water management issues but also a platform for sharing experiences from good practices regarding water management. China took the opportunity to showcase the success of the restoration of the Yangtze and Yellow Rivers at the 10th World Water Forum Fair and Expo at the Bali Nusa Dunia Convention Center (BNDCC).
The words "China Water" were displayed large at the top of the Chinese pavilion. Visitors could also get information on water management carried out by the Chinese government, including information on the restoration of the Yangtze and Yellow Rivers. Through wide-screen television, visitors could watch the restoration and management of the two longest rivers in China.
When met at the China Pavilion, the Vice President of China Water and Power Publishing and Media Group Ltd., Li Zhongfeng, admitted that he was happy, proud, and enthusiastic because his pavilion had been visited by the Public Works and Housing Minister Basuki Hadimuljono some time ago.
“Minister Basuki looked very happy when he visited our pavilion. "We are also delighted to be able to participate in this forum," said Li Zhongfeng on Friday (24 May).
Li Zhongfeng said that photos, videos, and various information in the China Pavilion can also be explored online by scanning the code available on the pavilion or visiting the website page https://waterexpo.digiwater.cn/#/
The 10th World Water Forum’s Fair and Expo was attended by 116 participants from 17 countries, spread across several organizations and country pavilions. The exhibition can be visited until 25 May. (Natalia Santi/Firda Puri/TR/Elvira Inda Sari/WS/PR)
