Electric Vehicles for 10^th World Water Forum VVIP Escort Ready

Head of the Traffic Corps of the Indonesian Police Inspector General Pol. Aan Suhanan emphasized that the electric vehicles to  the support security arrangement for the 10^th World Water Forum in Bali on 18—25 May 2024 are ready to be used, especially for escorting VVIP guests.

There are 75 two-wheeled official electric vehicles and 50 four-wheeled vehicles that will be used to escort heads of state at the 10^th World Water Forum. Apart from that, there are also fossil energy vehicles including 85 units of motorbikes and 98 units of cars.

"We will operate Under Operational Control (BKO) the VVIP escort vehicles. 50 four-wheeled electric vehicles and 75 two-wheeled electric ones will escort heads of state. For fossil vehicles, there are 85 motorbikes and 98 four-wheeled units," explained the National Police's Head of Traffic Corps at the NTMC Korlantas Field. National Police, Monday (6 May).

Apart from that, two Mobile Communication vehicle units will also be deployed to help Traffic Flow Control for Security and Control of Traffic and Parking Routes (pamwal rolakir) task force and one Road Accident Rescue (RAR) vehicle in the event of a traffic accident.

There is also a traffic accident analysis vehicle unit. "So, all of this can help support the Bali Regional Police in the organization of the 10th World Water Forum in Bali later," he continued.

On this occasion, the Head of the Traffic Corps also advised the personnel on duty to carry out security and escorts professionally and to collaborate with relevant stakeholders.

"Carry out this task well and with high integrity and professionalism. Also, collaborate with all stakeholders who will jointly carry out security for the 10th World Water Forum," he concluded.
