East Nusa Tenggara, Infopublik – Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves), Luhut B. Padjaitan, invited the People’s Republic of China’s Foreign Affairs Minister to attend the 2024 World Water Forum and Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (ISF).
Coordinating Minister Luhut extended the invitation directly to China’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Wang Yi, during the 4th High-Level Dialogue and Cooperation Mechanism (HDCM) between Indonesia and China in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on Friday (19 April 2024).
Coordinating Minister Luhut informed Minister Wang Yi that the World Water Forum will be held from 18 to 25 May 2024 in Bali, and the ISF will take place from 5 to 6 September 2024 in Jakarta.
“Our meeting today (the HDCM Meeting) was productive and efficient. I believe that the visit of Mr. Wang Yi and the delegation this time will not only benefit both countries but will also increase the Happiness Index of all the delegates," said Coordinating Minister Luhut.
In response to Coordinating Minister Luhut, Foreign Minister Wang Yi expressed pleasure in collaborating with Indonesia and hopes for closer cooperation in the future.
